S Graham got a whopping 12 points from six skaters on Sunday, giving him a four point lead in the Steinley standings going into Monday night.
Graham also has 11 players on teams that are winning their series, making him a formidable favourite at this early stage. The only fly in the ointment for the Spindly One is the fact that if all series in the Western Conference continue to go the way they are trending, Chicago will face San Jose and he'll be guaranteed to lose three. On the other hand, he'll also be guaranteed to advance three.
As is so often the case, one Steinley success story has a corollary, and in the case of S Graham's big night, the flipside has our defending Cup Champion in trouble. With the Sharks poised to sweep their series, Robinson is on the verge of losing four Canucks as well as two Red Wings. That would be a crippling blow to his hopes of keeping the treasured Cup for a second straight year.
MacMillan also had a big day, with 10 points coming from eight players, showing that, at this stage, none can be counted out.
