With 11 skaters going on Wednesday night, Peters got the production he’d been hoping for and posted a huge 12 points. The offensive outburst moved him into fourth place and Peters now has 11 players set to advance should their respective series continue in their current directions. He now sits nine points behind the leader, S Graham.
Lowe gathered four points on Wednesday but that was enough
to make up ground on top spot, and he is now just one back of Graham.
Graham, however, looks very strong and is likely to advance a
full complement of 12 players to the second round. And judging by his comments just before puck
drop on Wednesday, he is very focused on winning his third Steinley Cup
Championship.
“I am really enjoying the hot spring weather and looking
forward to golf this weekend.” said Graham of his success so far.
Lowe’s Steinley savy was also on full display when asked
about his own chances.
“Graham will win.” said Lowe.
